A Few Words

About Me

When it comes to dealing with Russian patent applications or responding to Office Actions, who you work with makes a difference. Let me tell you why and how I can be of help.

Back in 1996, I graduated as an engineer in telecommunications. Over the next 20 years, I worked in this field and related areas. You know, technology moves faster than what they teach you in school, so I always had to keep learning. Whether it was taking extra courses when I changed jobs or picking up new skills for promotions, I’ve always enjoyed learning. I even learned a few foreign languages along the way – first Italian, then I brushed up on my school English (which I still use), and I even learned Portuguese and German just because I like to keep learning new things.

My passion for learning eventually led me to the world of intellectual property. In 2011, the company I was working for needed to register patents and trademarks. That’s when I got curious and wanted to understand the process better. So, I spent two years studying at the Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property, the only university in Russia that trains specialists in managing, protecting, and using intellectual property. After graduating in 2013, I started working in this field. In 2020, I became a registered patent attorney, specializing in “Inventions and Utility Models.” Working in patenting satisfies my curiosity because it allows me to explore amazing things I didn’t even know existed. I get to understand how complex everyday things are and how they work.

For me, every patent application isn’t just a formal procedure – it’s a challenge to understand the technical solution and the author’s goals. I aim to develop the best strategy and secure the broadest rights possible. My technical education helps a lot with this because it’s the foundation for understanding many of the inventions I work with.

If you need help with filing a patent application, responding to an Office Action, or protecting your rights in court or in front of the Patent Appeal Board, please reach out to me. I can make sure we get things done quickly and without breaking the bank.
